About Informed Birth and Parenting Classes

This natural childbirth class emphasizes visualization as well as the psychological aspects of pregnancy, birth and parenting.

The instructors do not teach any particular method, but give the participants the tools for working with the intensity of labor.

They teach that knowledge and confidence are important to obtain relaxation and to make decisions in labor and delivery. Deep, slow breathing is emphasized and communication skills are also practiced.
